About us
At Gladstone Animal Rescue Group Inc (GARG), our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets in need within the Gladstone community. Established in 2018, we strive to create a safe haven for stray and surrendered animals, giving them a new chance at life.
Founded by a group of dedicated animal lovers, GARG was born out of a need to provide care and protection for the region's most vulnerable pets. Since opening our doors, we have successfully placed hundreds of animals into loving homes and continue to expand our reach and impact through community support and partnership with the Gladstone Regional Council.
Our collaboration with the Gladstone Regional Council and other local organisations is key to our success. These partnerships help us ensure that every animal receives the care they need and deserves. From adoption fairs to educational programs, we work tirelessly to engage and educate the community about responsible pet ownership.
Our Commitment to Animals
We pledge to never euthanize a healthy, sociable, or treatable animal. Our shelter operates without a time limit for any animal, providing shelter, food, love, and regular veterinary care. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to preparing our residents for a new life through comprehensive socialization, training, and health care.
